The birth of linux in the 1980s together with Sun Corporation's agressive promotion of open connectivity standards such as SCSI contributed to a shift in attitudes in the computer industry towards openness and sharing where everyone benefits. The advent of HTML and web pages on top of The Net allowed this change of attitude to take on truly global proportions. With that in mind, here's part of our contribution towards tools and knowledge.
